Compensation:
This position will offer a work transportation allowance to the intern in the amount of 1,000 JPY per work day. I will offer to help transport the intern from the airport to their housing location and point them to starting resources to assist with their time in the country. I will do my best to be available to help take the intern back to the airport on the departure date. There will also be support provided if the intern wishes to seek a second opportunity in the Kanto area to supplement their summer finances while here.
Assistance will be provided with helping the intern find an affordable and convenient accommodation conducive to short-term occupancy. The intern is also welcome to stay with me, provided that they are comfortable with conserving the utilities, locking the door behind themselves, and not invite anyone in without my consent. If the intern wishes to stay with me, he or she must be advised that I have a very busy schedule during the week that would prevent me from being a really good host in the home.
There will be a closing lunch or dinner for the intern, along with a firm letter of recommendation, building a portfolio, and post-internship support for finding employment inside or outside of Japan.
Language Requirement:
While Japanese would not be required to do the work, I would recommend that the candidate at least become familiar with some basic greetings, commands, questions, and counting in order to survive day-to-day interactions with the local population.

Most employees here start from scratch without any specific qualifications related to the beer industry, therefore all we desire is for the interns to be hard working, responsible and be adaptable to many roles. And of course have an interest in beer.

Responsibilities:
The primary job of the brewery worker is to assist where support is needed. This will cover many areas including keg filling, bottling, canning, packaging, fermentation, beer transfers, tank cleaning, analysis, and brewing.
In past experience, the intern mainly rotated between tank cleaning and keg filling, then had a day of analysis and brewing. There was also the occasional help in packaging.
Compensation:
Interns will receive meal and transportation support in the amount of 5000JPY per day. Payday is the last day of each month and the last day of the internship.
PLEASE NOTE: Interns are expected to arrive with enough cash to support themselves until their first payment – advance payments from the company will not be possible
