Chef Nakano from the Consulate-General of Japan in Detroit will give a brief presentation on authentic Japanese style sushi, and demonstrate how to make temaki-sushi, a type of sushi that resembles a hand-rolled cone of seaweed wrapped around rice and fillings. Participants will get a chance to make their own temaki-sushi, too! Presentation and demonstration in Japanese, with an English interpreter.
