Myoungjoon Kim is a media activist, trainer and researcher. His over thirty years of experience includes: Kino (1994-1998); Labor News Production (1990-2007); and board services to JinboNet - Korea Progressive Network, RTV (citizen TV) and KIFV (Korean Independent Film and Video Association). He currently serves as the President of MediACT, the first local media center of South Korea (2002-), which anchors the Maeul Media Network (2012-) now comprised of over a hundred citizen and community media groups. He also serves as Senior Adjunct Professor at Sungkonghoe University teaching courses in media activism, new media and social movement.
