About
Sosy is a graduate of Karen Jeppe Armenian College in Aleppo. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Art and Humanities from Aleppo State University and a Master’s in Armenian Studies from Hamazkayin Institute. She has worked as a Western Armenian language teacher at Aleppo Azkayin Haigazian School and Karen Jeppe Armenian College. In Armenia, she earned a Master’s Degree in Pedagogy in the field of ‘’Armenian Language and Literature’’ at Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachadoor Abovian. She worked as a linguist in the Western Armenian Department of the Hrachia Ajaryan Language Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. She also worked as Western Armenian teacher in Saturday Siamanto school National Prelacy of North America. She is the founder and tutor of Western Armenian online courses. Currently, she is working as the Western Armenian lecturer in the Department of Middle East Studies at the University of Michigan. She is also an Academic Program Developer and has future plans of writing an Armenian textbook.
