Adelaide Nieguitsila (2018-19 UMAPS) is part of an international collaborative project spearheaded by Nieguitsila's faculty collaborator Lutgarde Raskin and STEM-Africa member Rebecca Hardin on "Linking Research and Management for Sustainable and Safe Water Supply by Drinking Water Utilities across International Contexts." Aimed at pioneering a model for integrative water quality capacity within Gabon, this project was awarded a "Catalyst Grant" by the Graham Sustainability Institute.
