The Center for Japanese Studies presents Ann Arbor Japan Week! Join us for a week of free Japan-related programming designed for families and children from June 18th through June 24th. Japan Week 2017 will bring back some of our most successful events, including a taiko drumming performance, martial arts, sushi making, and a shibori dyeing workshop in the Ann Arbor District Library’s “Secret Lab” space. The Center for Japanese Studies is teaming up with our partners at the Michigan Theater and Cinetopia International Film Festival to offer two special kickoff movie screenings for all ages on June 11th and 18th.
