Duration: Internship duration is from early May to early August, for a minimum of 6 weeks. A flexible start date is available.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake program-specific research
• Assist with content creation and curation on social media channels
• Attend special events on PCRC’s behalf
• Coordinate logistics for summer programs and other special projects as applicable

Compensation:

• Unpaid
• Transportation costs are covered for coordinated field visits outside of Sarajevo
• Company will help intern to find housing, if desired

Language Requirements:

• English only. Any second language is welcomed, but not required.

This internship would meet the eligibility requirements for the Samo Alajbegovic Fellowship.

Responsibilities:

• Documentation of objects acquisitioned by the Museum
• Writing condition reports
• Assisting with packing of the objects
• Assisting with organization of research documents

Intern works with the Collections Manager on a regular basis and with other members of the Archive Department. The tasks listed above are evenly distributed during the day.

• Experience working in an archive (preferably)

Language Requirements: English only

Internship Dates: If offered the position, interns and their supervisor will decide on specific internship dates between May and August for a minimum of 6 weeks. Interns will work between 25 and 40 hours/week.

Additional Information: This position is eligible for the Samo Alajbegović Fellowship. All costs related to living in Sarajevo during the internship are the responsibility of the interns (food, transport and housing). Living costs in BiH are relatively modest. A monthly allowance of approximately 600 -700 USD can easily cover all those costs.

• Assist with development of educational workshops for children and youth
• Assist with website management
• Assist with social media management
• Track social media metrics
  

Intern works with the Museum Educator and with Social Media Manager on a regular basis. The tasks listed above are evenly distributed during the week according to the field of work.

Language Requirements: English only. Knowledge of German, Italian, French, Mandarin, or Spanish may be helpful in translating printed educational materials for visitors. If interns wish to assist in this area, they should be on at least B2 level (advanced or native level) to ensure that material translations are of high quality.
