Marjan Petreski recently published the article "Has Globalization Shrunk Manufacturing Labor Share in Transition Economies?" in the Journal of Comparative Economics, the top journal on transition economies. Petreski is Research Vice-Rector at University American College Skopje (UACS) and professor of economics at UACS Business School. He is also co-founder of Finance Think – Economic Research & Policy Institute, a prominent and influential economic think tank in Skopje, North Macedonia.

In September and October 2019, Professor Petreski visited U-M to work on his research project, “Understanding the Role of Globalization for Workers in Transition Economies,” with David Lam, professor of economics. The work he did while at U-M as a Weiser Professional Development Fellow is included in this newly published article.
