Join us on campus this fall for events hosted by the Weiser Center for Europe & Eurasia (WCEE) and its affiliated centers—the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREES) and the Copernicus Center for Polish Studies (CCPS). Prominent guest speakers include the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, on September 19, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine (2006-2009) William B. Taylor on September 26, WCEE Distinguished Fellow Joseph Sywenkyj on October 21, and critically-acclaimed author Aleksandar Hemon on November 4.
WCEE will also host two exhibits this semester—"Threads of Tradition: The Art of Ukrainian Vyshyvanka" on the 10th floor of Weiser Hall and "Verses from a Nation in Transition. Ukraine in Photographs by Joseph Sywenkyj" on the 5th floor of Weiser Hall.
