We mourn the passing of Weiser Center for Emerging Democracies Policy Board member Lorne W. Craner. Craner had been a member of the Weiser Policy Board since its inception in 2008. He and had a long and distinguished career, leading the charge to promote democracy worldwide, and serving in key diplomatic and policy roles for three administrations. He was the long-serving president of the International Republican Institute (IRI), and more recently led the American Councils for International Education. Read more.
