Brian Porter-Szücs is Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of History at the University of Michigan and faculty affiliate of the Center for European Studies; Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies; and Copernicus Center for Polish Studies. He is an expert on modern Polish history.
