Dear Class of 2013:

 

The following information is for those of you that confirmed attendance at the Program in International and Comparative Studies (PICS) graduation ceremony on May 2nd.



Business Casual Attire Recommended

 

No caps and gowns please

 

6:30pm - All graduates must arrive *no later* than 6:30 pm to line up at Lydia Mendelsshon Theatre lobby (2nd floor, Michigan League)

 

Student Procession: Students will process down towards the stage and assigned seating.

Please be prompt! Those who are not at the Lydia Mendelsshon lobby, when the procession is formed, will need to go to their assigned seats in the student reserved area. 

Once the procession begins, be sure to follow the person in front of you and please proceed to the assigned seating. You will find a tent card with your name on it on your assigned seat.

Students names will be arranged in alphabetical order.

Our staff will be there to help you.

5:00pm - Reception starts. Koessler Room, (3rd floor, Michigan League). Light refreshments will be served
6:00pm - Doors open to the public. Lydia Mendelsshon Theatre, (2nd and 3rd floor, Michigan League)
6:30pm - All graduates must arrive *no later* than 6:30 pm to line up at Lydia Mendelsshon Theatre lobby (2nd floor, Michigan League)
7:00pm - Ceremony.  Lydia Mendelsshon Theatre.

Parking on May 2nd:
Starting on  Thursday, May 2nd at 1 pm the following parking lots near the  Lydia Mendelsshon Theatre (Michighan League) will be free and open to the public:
Fletcher Structure, Thayer Structure and Blue Lot of the Palmer Commons Structure. Please visit  http://pts.umich.edu/maps/central_south.pdf for a detailed map.
The parking is available on the first come-first serve basis, and due to other ceremonies going on that day, parking might be limited.
