Interested in an internship in the Arctic Region? 

Come to the informational meeting to learn more about what you will be doing!

U-M undergraduate students receive grants of up to $2,000 towards summer research/internships in the Arctic Region.The grants are intended to promote the study of the Arctic and sub-Arctic region. Applicants for internships should be prepared to identify the venue for their preferred internship from the list of three partnering organizations. Funding can be used for travel, housing, and other fees associated with the program.

The Center for Military and Strategic Studies (CMSS at the University of Calgary) Area of research: International Security

Inuit Circumpolar Council-Alaska (ICC-AK) Areas of research: Policy and Advocacy for Indigenous People; Economic Development and Social Services; Health Issues Related to Climate/Ecology

Labrador Institute Areas of research: Climate Change/Meteorology, Wildlife, Ocean Science
