“I currently work as a Global Opportunities Coordinator with the Office of Global Activities in the School of Social Work at the University of Michigan. My International Studies minor impacted my ability to study abroad throughout my undergraduate career. The minor inspired me to travel in Latin America and other countries. Through this encouragement, I was able to work closely with the Center for Global and Intercultural Studies and eventually was able to get a recommendation to work at my current job within the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work. My International Studies minor started me on a path to explore the world and the human beings that inhabit the world and to learn and experience more. I am continuing that path of exploration currently through working with international exchange students and faculty.”
