Jung Ku-Hyun received his BA in Business Administration from Seoul National University and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He taught at Yonsei University’s School of Business from 1978 to 2002 and also served as Director of the Institute of East and West Studies and Dean of the Graduate School of Business Administration. In 2003, he moved to Samsung Group to serve as President and CEO of the Samsung Economic Research Institute. He joined the College of Business at KAIST in 2011 and currently serves in two non-profit organizations: President of the Seoul Forum for International Affairs and Chairman of the Center for Free Enterprise. He has published several books in recent years, focusing on Korean corporations, global financial crisis and the Korean economy.
