The U-M International Travel Policy applies to faculty, staff, and students traveling outside of the United States for U-M related travel. Visit the Global Michigan website for travel policy details and a list of current Travel Warning and Travel Restriction destinations.
Because of COVID-19, most countries remain a U-M Travel Restriction. All undergraduate U-M related travel to U-M Travel Restriction destinations is prohibited. Graduate students going to Travel Warning/Restriction destinations must have an approved safety plan. Safety plans must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to departure and MUST be approved before funding can be released.
