That Golden Hanbok, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea
"The photo tells how happy I was wearing hanbok at its original place. The positive vibe and happy faces from the locals supporting my excitement in the dress added to the best feeling ever at that time. Not a second did I feel different or insecure, but grateful to have this golden chance in the golden hanbok."

Village Life
Lalung is a tiny village nestled in the foothills of Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India. The village is full of warmth, happiness, and tradition--everyone working together cohesively to raise their families. I met this woman when I was on a ten-day trek through the Himalayas, stopping for the night to stay in a villager's home in Lalung. This elderly woman approached me to let me hold her sheep, exuding so much joy and positivity and welcoming me into her home.
