Zoe McLaren's research examines how health status and access to health resources influence economic outcomes and vice versa to shed light on the economic impact of the HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis epidemics. Prof. McLaren's current work analyzes large data sets using econometric methods in order to build a more rigorous evidence base for policy-making in developing countries. She received her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Economics from the University of Michigan in 2010.
