About
Yanze's academic interests lie at the intersection of medical sociology/anthropology, political economy, and science and technology studies. His master’s thesis investigates the institutional disparities between Tic Disorders and ADHD in China, a project funded by the Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies, the International Institute, Rackham Graduate School, and the U-M Library. Yanze has presented his findings at various workshops at U-M, including the ESO Workshop, the LRCCS Interdisciplinary Workshop, and the STS-RIW Workshop. His undergraduate research focused on the embodied experiences and illness narratives of individuals affected by tics in China.
