Much of my work has appeared in the form of various print and digital publications. I also have experience in collaborating with educators in designing instructional materials in informal settings, e.g., promotional course materials, websites, and informational literature.
I completed my MA in Educational Studies in New Media and New Literacies in winter 2019, developing a keen interest in instructional design, allowing me to work and collaborate with educators in creating and presenting ways to learn using various media. As part of my graduation requirements, I worked with a University of Michigan professor in designing Kakuma Youth Opportunities to Lifelong Learning, a website that offers information, resources, and an informal learning environment for the youth completing secondary school in Kakuma Camp in Kenya.
