Marysia Ostafin earned a B.A. in English and did graduate work in REES at U-M. Proficient in several languages of the region, Marysia officially retired from U-M in 2021 after working for the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREES) and the Weiser Centers for narly 40 years. She continues to work for WCEE on a temporary basis, assisting with programs and special projects.
