About
J. Henrike Florusbosch is a socio-cultural anthropologist who earned her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a graduate certificate in museum studies. Her research interests center around the value of heritage in various West African contexts, notably Mali and Ghana. For the past four years, she taught in the Institute for Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Henrike is also a lecturer in the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies and the Department of Anthropology at U-M.
