Chuxuan's primary research interests include contemporary Chinese Feminism and its relationship with internet media and regional differences. She conducted fieldwork in Tibet that looked at Tibetan's daily life crossed with Tibetan Buddhism and yak culture. She can speak Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. She is currently working on global feminism projects as a research assistant.
