Meet executive German Tijero and learn what building relationships around the world looks like and how to successfully navigate your life and career in different cultures.

German Tijero is the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Commercial Excellence at Amcor – a global packaging company – and leads customer experience efforts for the Beverage and Rigid Packaging side of the business, based in Ann Arbor. His former positions at Amcor include: Vice President Sales, Marketing & Commercial Excellence, Amcor Flexibles Latin America (2016-2022) based in Miami; General Manager Iberia Fresh Cluster, Amcor Flexibles EMEA based in Barcelona (2013-2016); Global Key Account Manager (ACDP) (2012-2013) based in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to his current role, German has several Sales & General Manager Leadership positions in MolsonCoors Brewers (working in Barcelona and spending significant time at Headquarters in Denver) & Eden Springs based in Lausanne, Switzerland. He was born in Bilbao (Basque Country, Spain) and has studied at Esade Barcelona, Fudan University (Shanghai, China), Henley University (United Kingdom) and the Weatherhead School of Management (Cleveland, US). He enjoys cooking, running, hiking, and exploring his curiosity.
