September 23: Latvia, Europe, and the Road Ahead
CREES is the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies at the University of Michigan’s International Institute. A long-time recipient of U.S. Department of Education Title VI grants, the center currently awards US/ED-supported Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships. CREES, along with the Copernicus Center for Polish Studies and Center for European Studies, comprise the Ronald and Eileen Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia, which works in association with the Weiser Center for Emerging Democracies.
We strive to support our students and faculty on the front lines of learning and research and to steward our planet, our community, our campus. To do this, the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies needs your support.
