Curriculum Development Grant

Funding opportunity for K-12, community college, and 4-year institution instructional staff to support a visit to the University of Michigan

CMENAS grants awards for the purpose of curriculum development related to the Middle East and/or North Africa (MENA) region. Grants can be used to support a visit for up to five days at the University of Michigan. Educators have the opportunity to use the MENA collections available at University of Michigan libraries, museums and archival collections and the opportunity to consult with faculty during their visit.

All scholars and educators, including K-12 teachers and faculty from two- and four-year colleges and universities, especially those lacking significant MENA resources within their home institutions, are encouraged to apply.

Those awarded grants are required to submit a detailed grant report one month after completing visit, which includes a description of materials collected, and details for the integration of MENA content into courses taught, or new courses developed.

Deadline: Rolling.

**Grants and award amounts are dependent upon the availability of center funds.  All applications will be reviewed in the order that they are submitted.  A person may receive an award only once per academic year.
