Dating apps: Space of Vulnerability and Terror

Speaker: 2Fik
Thursday, November 7, 2024
5:00-6:30 PM
Off Campus Location
In this talk, 2Fik will delve into the realm of dating apps, self-representation, and gender performance. Drawing from his 2021 artistic project, “Romance ain't dead, 2Fik!,” where
he portrayed 100 characters on his own web-based dating app, 2Fik will discuss the results of his exploration. He will share his experiences, both online and during the eight-day live performance, where he brought characters to life through face-to-face dates.
