Special Africa-related projects, initiatives, or collaborations may be available from the African Studies Center on a limited basis. Requests between $4,000-$10,000 will be referred to the ASC Executive Committee for review. To be considered for funding, requests must include a proposal (limit five pages), the total budget, the amount requested from ASC, and a list of other project sponsors/co-sponsors. It is expected that applicants will seek funding from multiple sources. Priority is given to applicants who have not received prior ASC funding and to projects focused on Sub-Saharan Africa.
