Christina Schwenkel is an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology and director of the Program in Southeast Asian Studies at the University of California at Riverside. Her research focuses on postsocialism, global Cold War studies, urban anthropology, and visual cultures of Southeast Asia and Central Europe.
