Masters Program
The Center for Japanese Studies offers master's degree programs through the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies. These programs are designed to develop competence in Japanese language, breadth of knowledge about Japan, and research and writing skills appropriate for a graduate student. They allow students maximum flexibility to pursue their own interests while completing the degree requirements.
The Center offers three degree programs:
- Interdisciplinary Master of Arts in Japanese Studies, leading to an MA degree.
- Join Degree in Japanese Studies and Business, leading to MA and MBA degrees.
- Dual Degree in Japanese Studies and Law, leading to MA and JD degrees.
