Globalization has increased the demand for individuals with cultural knowledge and foreign language skills.  The Center for Japanese Studies’ K-14 Educational materials, resources, and educator events provide teachers and students with a means to explore Japanese culture and language, while developing an understanding of its significance within a global context.  As a continuing leader in business, and a significant player in the exportation of technology and popular culture, the study of Japan and its language is paramount to understanding the world today.
