Application Materials

Who needs to apply?

Currently enrolled U-M students may register into most courses listed on the Summer Language Institute web site using Wolverine Access. However, the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures requires submission of an application through the SLI for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean courses. Once the ALC has accepted an applicant into one of their summer intensive courses, the department will issue an over-ride in Wolverine Access and notify the applicant to proceed with registration (or ask them to pay the deposit required of students who have chosen to take the course as a Program Fee student).

Guest applications are welcome.  Qualified applicants will be admitted as space allows.  Please complete the appropriate application form and submit the required supporting documents by the deadline.
