Michigan Social Studies Framework -- Professional Development Workshop

Workshop Summary: The workshop is designed to help Michigan educators develop curricula for their classroom based on the state's new content expectations for world history and geography. This workshop will use three thematic focuses and several specific cases to help teachers explore ways to structure their instruction of Era Six comparatively and connectively across world regions.

Audience: High school educators currently teaching world history and geography from Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties. Teachers from other counties are welcome if space permits.
