II Journal

The Journal of the International Institute features scholarly articles addressing global topics authored by U-M faculty and visiting scholars from diverse disciplines. The journal reaches an audience of 10,000 U-M faculty, students, and alumni, as well as foreign dignitaries and academics at other universities.

Michael D. Kennedy was the Special Editor for the Journal's spring 2009 edition focused on democracy. He is a professor of sociology, Ronald and Eileen Weiser Professor of European and Eurasian Studies, and director of the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia and Weiser Center for Emerging Democracies at the University of Michigan.
