The International Institute (II) is the administrative umbrella under which all 18 centers and programs operate. Supported by the II staff, Director Mark Tessler sets the strategic vision and provides academic oversight for the institute’s centers. Each individual center is led by a director, with a team dedicated solely to the center’s area or theme. In addition to the II and center directors, the II Steering Committee acts as an advisory council to provide insight and advice on the direction of the II.
