Supporting CES / EUC

The U-M has long been strong in the study of Western Europe and European integration. Its Law School, for example, launched the field of European Union law, and the University's humanities, social science, and professional departments have been renowned in their study and teaching of European languages, cultures, and history. The interdisciplinary approach of the U-M faculty to analyze social, economic, and political transformations is ideal for understanding the complex and multifaceted process that is leading to the construction of a united Europe.

We are seeking to build an endowment to sustain and improve our interdisciplinary efforts. We wish to expose U-M students to the best scholarship and teaching on Europe, to help students from Europe to study at U-M and U-M students to spend time in European institutions, and to aid faculty who wish to do research in Europe.

We encourage you to make donations to the University of Michigan Center for European Studies (CES). A contribution to our endowments is a significant way to help secure the University of Michigan's position as a leader in higher education and research.
