About the Theme: China: Global / Local
As China emerges on the world stage, what evocative and enduring stories can your photographs tell us about China now as it makes history at home and abroad? While Chinese influence – be it political, economic or cultural – reaches far and wide around the globe, the distance between what is considered local and what is thought to be global also expands and contracts. Entries into the 2009 CCS Photo Contests will reflect different perspectives of a changing world in which China plays a pivotal role.
